It is not uncommon for our loved ones to lay their fears before us and we just don’t even know what to do with them. It can be excruciating to send the people we love off to school…onto to the field…off to college…into battle…or into territories unknown when all we want to do is hug them to our chest and never let them go.~~Hands Free Mama
There is something quite powerful I say and do to ease those fears. My teens face a lot of the world each day and new season on their own. It’s so much harder now than it was when they were younger! Nonetheless, I encourage daily communication as much as possible–a phone call, a text here and there–just so I know they are there and I do the same. The world is a crazy place. With so much unknown, we have each other and a PEACE that passes all understanding. They know I’m praying for them everyday. Today, I reminded myself the power that comes from knowing where my people are. There is great comfort in knowing someone is waiting for me.
The brisk mornings, warmer afternoons, and the changing of the leaves really turn my crank. Yet, I’m sad to see summer go for the unofficial beginning of fall. I love more sunshine, more camping, more stripping down and swimming naked in the river. Le Sigh. You’re just here for some free patterns, right? Use the coupon code SEPFREE to get a FREE copy of Banditos, good ’til end of tomorrow (Pacific time.) Before you know it, the free pattern will be gone, like summer.
