A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

Final selection is in. The flutist submitted her audition pieces a couple of weeks ago to Western International Band clinic–one of the country’s largest honor band event–again for a seat to be performing on November 18-21 at its 33rd convention in Seattle.

She is in again…Up 3 positions from last year…First Flute, 11th chair out of 160.

Y A H O O! Seattle, here she comes!

Happy crafting and keep those creative juices running!

  1. Congratulations to your daughter! What a great accomplishment – and mom, you must be bursting with pride!

    • Thanks, Tammy. She so deserves the chair and is very excited about returning to Seattle in November and play with over a thousand of talented musicians on stage. On one hand I’m proud; yet, I wonder how much longer we can support her financially. It’s been costly…more so each year over last!
