It’s really reasonable to consider about 90F to be cool…I suppose it is, in context. Come on there girl, enjoy it while we can, it will change soon enough. AND I am loving watching all those crops coming in dry and clean. Makes for good feed. What does one do when it’s Saturday and hot out…plenty of humidity to make me feel sticky and slow? I spent a good part of the day at Laura’s—catching up on some serious spinning–then met up with hubby for post-game party at a neighbor–Sandy and Jack–of my in-laws (No picture, sorry.)
Half of September has come and gone…with it all sorts of fun and fruitful events…events which, however, have minimized my knitting pleasure a little. Finally, I’ve gotten a bit of a break and my love affair with swirl knitting continues…
Tomorrow would be another crazy day, getting ready…and dreaming about my family retreat on the coast, spending my days eating and walking along Pacific coast, the river, the ocean, the Cascade Mountains. The air mixes redwoods with ocean breezes. Familiar trees–bay, pepper, eucalyptus, live oak. Sunshine, sea, nature. A perfect getaway. I miss it.
Happy crafting and keep those creative juices running!
