A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

Fun. Friendship. Outdoor. Campfire USA Day Camp started today at Tumalo State Park, on the Deschutes River.

First time ever with ten kids on the waiting-list, I had to turn down and sent home two returned-campers (most adorable girls I’ve ever met) showed up at camp with their dad. It was nearly the hardest thing I had to do.

In my group, I have eleven second-graders and one 15-year-old Counselor-in-Training.

I strive to give each child a super,

richly imaginative

summer camp experience,

a chance to sample a little bit of everything.

Before I know it, the week goes by really, really fast! Right?

Happy crafting and keep those creative juices running!

(still doesn’t do texting, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, DiggIt…)
