A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

What were you up to today? Me? Deeply in Love with Cloud, Shibuiknits new yarn. Ooooh, it’s like I said yesterday

…ridiculously shiny, silky, and combining with Staccato

–another remarkable show-stopper!

Eustacia in dots

Even when I experienced one too many relaxing momentsif you catch drift.. Before Kristin joined me in afternoon knit-up at Dudley’s Bookshop Cafe, I ripped out half of the knitting

How do you like my bobbin for winding up the unraveled 3-strand yarns?!

then another after concert knitting, in the dark, at older teen’s high school bands spring concert and award presentation

Extra Knit row added, an inch back, hence fabric reversed...very noticeable!

It was not SCARY at all to rip them out–Two-strand Cloud, tripled with Staccato–high-content mohair strands were a joy…no tangle mess…not one teeny bit…even with large section at a time

However, I’m woefully behind on Eustacia, designed by Sara Morris for Shibuiknits. With moderate lengthy car-ride tomorrow, I hope to show significant progress.

Teen receiving her Band Letter as freshman!

Leaving you a couple of excerpts from the teen’s performance with her concert band…last performance as first-chair flutist. Next fall a sophomore , she will be joining Summit Wind Ensemble–crowned state champs–as one of three French Horn player. Music is her life, a happy place.

Sorry for the shaking clips

The graduating seniors of Wind Ensemble were phe·nom·e·nal, as remarkable as that of a Cascade Symphony Orchestra concert. The awards to the seniors were entertaining and emotionally touching. Another delightful evening to remember.

Happy crafting and keep those creative juices running!
