A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

I love lazy weekends after a hectic couple of days! Sleep in late and then get to hang out with my spinner friends–how perfect! My wheels are oiled. Spindles free of dust. Roving at the ready. I started off my Olympic warm-up for Event Flying Camel with a marathon stash dive this afternoon at my friend Pam’s shop

It seems, ahem, how I’ve accumulated so much fiber in less than 10 months since I learned to spin! My goal for this event is to spin up all the roving acquired last April–despite the fact that it won’t quality for Event Stash Compulsory Dance (from at least a-year-old stash.)

Now…dum…dedumdum…de…dummmdedumdidoh…(crescendo)…Dah!!! Crowd goes wild with applause, cake, and chocolate bars tossed on stage while today’s ravthletes (including MOI) in the Event Felting Freestyle received their

medal from Head of International Ravelympic Committee
Adonis Dionysius Bobicus Maximus.

Happy crafting and keep those creative juices running!
