A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

I finally corral myself out of bed and head downstairs…contemplating whether to collapse on the couch, catching up with some overdue reading, or be a good American and watch the Winter Olympics?  Better yet, I went for a short hike while it’s beautiful out.

The wool room has been quite busy this week. I got 16 more ounces of Potluck and 8 ounces of Brown Sheep fine wool from my friend Pam last week for more dyeing experiment. My goal for Ravelympics FlyingCamel event is to spin up at least 12 ounces of roving during the 17-day Olympic Winter Games and complete by the extinguishing of the flame during closing ceremonies.  First bobbin and spindle are filled:

The Ravelympics will be spotlighted tonight on a fabulous Podcast hosted by YarnThing. It’s a call-in show.  So, feel free to call-in with questions or talk about your feats of glory so far.  The show goes live at 4 p.m. Pacific Time.  If you miss the live show, feel free to listen in afterward.

Happy crafting and keep those creative juices running!
