A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

Spin and Knit

I got stripes of dreamy, silky roving (as shown in 1st top picture from left) from Judith MacKenzie McCuin last August. Though excellent for surface design on felt, it has been idylling in my JMM bin…until the softness of merino and a touch of sheen from Tussah Silk named McKenzie came along. I knew the moment I saw it–dangerous yet exciting–the soul mate long been waiting for

…. to spin into a great yarn, from smooth soft singles, to delicate lace-weight.
Merino Tussah & JMM Batt 2-Ply Skein
83 grams, 420 yards of 2-ply lace
All the silk gives this special skein of lace a luminescence similar to duck feathers. It’s scrumptious!

Project suggestion, anyone?

Happy crafting and keep those creative juices running!
