Color Inspiration

I can never get enough of looking at color inspiration. Today’s inspiration is from a bold, vibrant color painting by Jonathan Green:

I love this picture by Pieter Brueghel. Every time I look at it I am struck by how modern it looks. Can you believe it’s actually over 400 years old? Amazing.

I am also mesmerized by Matisse’s paintings and collages. And kids’ art is always wonderful for color applied with abandon. One of my favorite playgrounds is Color Schemer–where I try different combination online (download available for offline experiment.) Where do you go for color inspiration?
