A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

Fair Isle Bandelier Finished

Five days on the coast, at a remote and pristine Oregon Coast was relaxing and rejuvenating…but it came to an end just too fast. In the coming days/months, I’ll write on this blog about how our annual retreat played out. So what did you do all day in a secluded island with a bunch of unschoolers? Every day was different–it’s much easier to answer that question with snapshots and specifics. I’ve plotted a rough course for craft among time off exploring the shore and cascade…good intention…with little success.

There has been some random knitting,

more fine lace spinning

spiral and string beading

Temari making

and finally finishing Bandelier that started after Sock Summit a month ago.

Happy creating!

  1. That's a whole lot of crafting, and it all looks great!

  2. This look like a very crafty time spell! I wanted to open the sock mosaic but it's message was “Error” – but even in its tiny version it looks very tempting!

  3. wow — love all these photos of the socks! I look forward to poking around here on your blog — mine is pretty quiet (spend toooo much time on Ravelry, sigh — btw, I also just friended you!)
