A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

Painting is just another way
of keeping a diary.~~Pablo Picasso

One of the great things about knitting, over other crafty obsessions, is that I don’t need a lot of fancy equipment to get started–pick up a pair of knitting needles and a ball of yarn and I can start knitting right now! Throw in a pair of small scissors for snipping the yarn and a crochet hook for weaving in ends and I can actually finish off my project on a move. Tape measurement and movable stitch markers are handy. What’s in your knitting bag?

Instead of a pair of socks/mittens or a scarf, I usually have lace or sweater as my portable knitting. Kick-off of Silver Belle (also known as ROMY) did not go without challenge. First, knitted cast on 376 stitches, in Cascade 220 Tweed Delphinium, at Friday Knit-Up social…Row 1 and all odd rows are wrong-side rows so it means read chart from left to right…work on 4 different cable charts throughout in every pattern row…shaping decreases to pull oversized peplum in…All these can be overwhelming to a knitter who dislike chart reading! For me, it is rhythmic, soothing. Have faith it will all work out.

Completion of Row 30 for Peplum

Unraveled a section of Chart B to Row 14 to add a decrease!

Voila…All fixed.

More project details in a later post. Stay tuned.

Happy creating!
