A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

Every artist dips his brush in his own soul
and paints his own nature into his pictures.

Meaty beef bone and chopped onions have been slow-cooking overnight. Its aroma kept me awake most of the night. Brimming with meat and vegetables, this full-bodied soup is sure to take the chill off frosty weather. I am bringing it (along with some knitting goodies) to a friend who has a tumor removed a couple of days ago wearily awaiting medical result from the biopsy. Clouds are clearing so I imagine it’ll be a beautiful but crisp spring day.

So, I knit a lot. By a lot, I mean A LOT. I have this established but still like to be sure we all realize this. The only thing is the ton of knitting I do has been devoted recently to lace knitting. Did I mention I got sucked into another mystery lace Knitalong (KAL)? First 3 clues for this Springtime Swirl circular shawl are released, in 3 parts, on April 8, 11, and 15, as the first rows are short and fast to knit. The rest of the clues will be posted on the following Wednesdays. Joining the KAL is free and sign up for the Yahoo group is still open until midnight (Finnish time) on Wednesday, April 15. What are you waiting for? Click here and join me and hundred others for some spring-time swirly fun. You won’t regret it.

More on fibers/needles later…

Happy creating!

    Hi Sarah,
I found your side and fall in love with this Springtime swirl shawl. Is it any possibility to join still, to get this pattern?

    BR Susie
