A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

Day Seven today…Row 23 of Aeolian Edge Charts completed, unstretched.

Picture Included: Setup, 10 repeats of Yucca, Transition, 3 repeats of Agave, and part of Edging

Bead painting is a wonderful way to add texture, dimension and interest to any lace. There are way too many Swarovski bicone crystals and Blue Moon assorted glass, in various luminous shades and sizes, to count.

The finished lace will curve to a crescent shape for easy drape. While Yucca increases at a traditional rate (like pure triangular shawls,) bottom edges increase more rapidly. It will end up with quite a few extra stitches; which makes the lace easier to block into a curve.

If you are a member of Ravelry, be sure to check out many variation of this lovely shawl. More to come later…

Happy creating!
