A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

I know I promised to get back to the pinwheel pullover and I did, a little…sleeves are back on the needles and &frac14 way through. I had to rip out once as gauge and lace work were off. This project should be finished today unless unexpected distraction arises. Stay tuned for photos and more Sarah-way of shaping details instead of the traditional methods of decreasing/increasing stitches later.

Shimmer & Shine Strapless Babydoll top, on the other hand, is flying outta here at breakneck speed.

Pattern: Shimmer & Shine Strapless Babydoll Top from Knitter’s Magazine Issue 90 Spring, 2008
Yarn: 3.5 skeins of Sugar ‘N Cream Playtime and 1 skein of Hot Orange
Needles: US Size 7 (for peplum) and Size 6(for bodice) Addi Circulars; Crochet Hook Size D for edging
Gauge: 4.5 stitches/6 rows in an inch/stockinette
Modification: I switched to Size 6 Needles for bodice section and still a bit roomy–will definitely switch to Size 5 on next one on queue. Thank goodness for elastic…I am good for this one. Contrast in edging, bodice, and peplum turned out nicely and I love how it fell into place.
Comments: This is a quick, easy TV knitting or knitting-to-go pattern. This is a keeper.

Happy Creating!
