A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

I cast on this sweater for a friend on Thanksgiving eve. It looks terrific in self-striping yarn. Like….Noro Silk Garden! or Kureyon or whatever you want. Half way through, I had to frog it because of a mistake in row 5 or 6 at the beginning. The decreased seam just didn’t flow smoothly with the rest of its path. Plus, the gauge looks a tad off.

Here is WIP on the second time:

Pattern: Baby Surprise Jacket, The Opinionated Knitter by Elizabeth Zimmerman
Needles: Skacel Addi Turbo – US 4
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool – 100% Wool (great for felting.)
Colorway is Majestic Mountain. Two skeins used thus far.

At the rate I’m knitting, I should finish the lovely sweater in a day or two…or at least before the baby’s arrival.
