A little bit of this and, a little bit of that, makes a little bit of me.

Worldwide Knit In Public Day

aka WWKIP.  Avid love for knitting.  Not that I need an enabler.  It’s rather easy to do things in public.  I do not have to travel to get to public.  It’s something I do gladly with frequency.

Hubby (definitely a keeper) and I have taken advantage of the glorious surprise (opposite to the snow forecast) and held my own WWKIP Day.

I would have liked a company or two knitters and do a little yarnbombing or socially acceptable graffiti.

but it did work for the busy day we’ve had…dropping off/picking up kids at graduation ceremony, birthday party, picking out birthday gift, and card.

This one was an Artist Trading Card aka ATCsize of a baseball card–made by my 13-year-old teen back on October 27, 2008.

It went on to outside of the gift bag (aka brown paper lunch bag) to house a pair of Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Pittards gloves for my friend Erin’s younger teen.

Aside from WWKIP, it’s also International Yarnbombing Day (aka IYBD.)

Wouldn’t it be COOL to knit or crochet up–using vibrant knitting materials in wool, yarn and spirit-colored cords–one of London-based photographer Louise Walker’s Wooly Head sweater-inspired manes series?   One of our downtown handsome statutes dons a wicked, freshly colored-coif, woolen wig, reminiscing a particular era’s hair fashions…i.e. hippie-dos, Marilyn Monroe-inspired locks, doting 50s housewife cuts, a pink Judy Jetson, sophisticated flapper fashion…Madonna…Lady Gaga?

What do you think of ‘em hairdos?  ♥

Life is…I started to make a WTF aka Why-The-Heck-Not list. Things I want to do before I’m 60. But, I’m slow. So slow…it will take me forever to get anything done!

The list has since been scrapped after constant distraction.

I don’t text or chat on the cell phone. Rare, maybe. So, what’s my struggle? The “I” word named The Internet. Mainly toggling among Ravelry, Facebook, and WordPress.  It’s difficult for me to put down and take in the moment.  Is it why my memory a slippery slope?

Thank goodness for my blog and photographs. I may not remember a thing!

I don’t leave home without my Nikon around my neck, even to grocery shopping LOL. Doesn’t it take away my focus in the moment? In life? Quite the opposite. I see things, details, colors, shapes, textures, lines…I miss otherwise…like this remarkable art piece in a neighborhood park.

Call me weird. With a camera on the palm of my hand, I am quite observant. My memory improves. I can re-live those special moments, looking through photographs. How about you? Do you enjoy seeing things through a camera lens or a photograph blog?
